Why are kids bedding and bedding accessories important, you may ask? After much thought on this subject, I will start out by saying that it your kids position of importance and belonging in the family, and in the household.

It is important for children to know that they are loved and valued. I believe that having their own rooms and their own possessions is critical to their well being. Their room is a place where they can escape form the world. It is familiar ground where they are in control. It is their turf. It gives them peace of mind. It is a place where they can relax and be themselves and think through their problems.

Well, you get the idea.

When you are designing your kid's bedrooms, there are a couple things to keep in mind. For instance the age of the child is important. This is true for a couple reasons.

The first reason is to help the parents save money by doing it right. Most of us are money conscious these days. It is expensive to change your kid's room, and then do it over again in a year or two. We should take into consideration the age of the child.

Why? Because if they are in a transition age, (going from baby to toddler, or from toddler to big kids or from big kids to adolescence) it may make sense to do a surface upgrade. It is usually obvious when you enter a room if the color is right or wrong. Kids love color, so be creative. Most accessories are very colorful and that is why accessories coordinate well with the kid's bedding. That is if the kid's bedding, and accessories have the same theme.
